Need for a Purposeful Bible Reading

        Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ! Everyday thousands and thousands of people accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior in our nation. This fact is evidenced by many missionary reports. If this is true how many believers become and endure to be true followers of Jesus Christ? Becoming a follower of Jesus Christ demands a constant prayer life and good Bible reading practices. When it comes to Bible Reading and teaching we still lack knowledge on how to read the Bible in a meaningful and a purposeful way. A meaningful and purposeful Bible study requires a holistic approach to read the word supplemented with history, background, culture, audience and time line of the Biblical Events. Reading the word blindly without understanding the context and background will not completely lead us to a meaningful Bible study.

        To make Bible Reading more meaningful and purposeful, Messiah Miracle Ministry found an idea to start and continue a Bible study program which covers the entire portion of the Bible. We do touch down from the Book of Genesis through Revelation. Old Testament topics include Pentateuch, History of Salvation, Law, Conquest of the Holy Land, Prophets, Old Testament Worshiping Practices, Wisdom Literature, Exile, Return and Diaspora and Book of Prophesies. New Testament topics include Gospels, History of the early Church, Epistles, Homiletic, Character Development and Personal Application of the Word. The Bible study also teaches how an Extra Biblical and a Wrong Gospel will look like.

About the Teacher

        His Name is S. Arul Prasath (M.A, M. Phil, M. Div) graduated from the Southern Asia Bible College (Bangalore) in 2009. He started his Bible teaching career since 2009 and continuing till now. His main objective being a Bible teacher is to make the Word inject and invest into people’s heart and then let the Word spread the world. Timings

        We meet at our church every last Saturday of the month. Our course timings are 10 AM till 2 PM. Also we do have weekly Bible Study on every Thursdays at 7 PM.
